Two most prestigious art galleries have come together for an online art exhibit ‘FUTURE IS NOT FIXED’ for a month-long virtual display of artworks by some of the most distinguished artists depicting the impact of the pandemic.
A virtual art show curated by Arjun Sawhney, managing director of The Communication Council and Green Goose Design presents a joint presentation by two of India’s most prestigious art galleries, Nature Morte and Vadehra Art Gallery.
‘Future Is Not Fixed‘ considers a creative interpretation of the times uncertain and future unknown, an artistic reflection of inner and outer worlds, a heightened sense of anxiety and solitude and the new way of being borne by the times unfamiliar. The works of art, fueled by a perspective unacquainted, a narrative unknown, appeal to the imagination of the tainted fixtures of the worlds we once lived and sought to live.

The series of artworks depict the uncertainty of our future that came along with the pandemic. It reflects the unfamiliar inner and outer worlds, the sense of isolation and the besmirched notions of the past. This show curated by Arjun Sawhney is an attempt to illustrate these feelings as we live through this point in history, “This is the reality of today and this is the truth. The future is not fixed. Not at all anymore.”
