After Drip 2.1 launch in October’20, the Adidas x IVY Park collection is back with new colorways and silhouettes across apparel and sneaker ranges.
The collection combines Beyonce’s love of athleticism and fashion with Adidas’ performance and innovation to push the boundaries of athletic wear and inspire anyone who understands that beauty is more than physical appearance. It is inspired by the inner beauty, strength, resilience and energy of artists who have found their park.
Beyoncé explained her reason to start this campaign, “I would wake up in the morning, and my dad would come knocking at my door, telling me it’s time to go running. I remember wanting to stop, but I would push myself to keep going. It taught me discipline and to keep breathing. There are things I’m still afraid of. When I have to conquer those things, I still go back to that park. Before I hit the stage, I go back to that park. When it was time for me to give birth, I went back to that park. The park became a state of mind. The park became my strength. The park is what made me who I am. Where’s your park?”
The fully gender-neutral collection includes everything the wearer needs to own the ‘Gym to Life’ transition and utilizes UNITE FIT as the new standard of inclusive and genderless sizing. For accessories, a selection of belts, socks and hats, alongside functional belt bags, fanny packs and a duffle bag compliment the utility and versatility of the apparel collection.
IVY PARK expands its footwear offerings with three new styles including updated colorways of the IVY PARK Ultra Boost, Super Sleek 72 and Forum Mid. The footwear reinterprets classic Adidas silhouettes and incorporates innovative lacing and hook systems, allowing the wearer to clip the shoes to a gym bag.
The collection launches online on shop.adidas.co.in on 18th November 2020 and in stores on 19th November 2020.
