A semi-precious jewellery brand that emanates beauty and finesse, Eurumme’s latest collection comes from a place of deep emotions. The collection title refers to a place/person that makes one feel safe, or from which one’s strength of character is drawn.
Going by the brand’s philosophy ‘Imperfect is Beautiful’, the new jewellery line ‘Querencia’ stems from feelings of being in a state of flux, fluidity, and transience. Eishita Puri, founder of Eurumme says, says, “My inspiration stems from the feeling of recognising that even when one is in a dark place, they can and will emerge, as long as you have your Querencia.” She further adds, “Your Querencia could be any place or person that makes you feel safe and gives you strength in your darkest hour.”
Subtle yet striking, and contemporary, yet timeless, Querencia will feature a limited number of styles including ear pins, earrings that double up as ear cuffs, a multi-functional earring that transform into a necklace, stackable rings, statement studs, oversized shoulder dusters and neckpieces that look great as is or fabulous when layered.
Eishita further concludes, “2020 was a rollercoaster ride for most of us, to say the least. The pandemic hit, bringing along with it a deluge of feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, and confusion. It blew the lid off deep-rooted insecurities and vulnerabilities. I found myself feeling a bunch of different emotions. How was it even possible to feel sad, anxious, worried, angry, confused one moment, and then suddenly be overcome by feelings of gratitude, hope and relief? And then of course there were other times when I just felt plain numb and frozen in time. Querencia is a reflection of these fluid feelings; of the state of flux, I constantly found myself in”
