Luxury menswear design label Sarah & Sandeep unveils an ultra-luxe selection of unisex PJs and sleepwear collection.
Fashion label Sarah & Sandeep announced the launch of its one-of-a-kind drop, ‘SOPOR’ – a fresh take on a multi-utility sleepwear collection for men and women. This unisex drop supersedes the conformity of ‘basics’ and focuses on improving the wearer’s personal style at home.

A Sarah & Sandeep SOPOR style is an absolute must-have for fashion-forward individuals looking for ‘comfort essentials’. This latest offering by Sarah & Sandeep can see their signature S&S geometric detailing combined with contemporary prints that give character to the styles, while the smoothness of the fabric reminds us that it’s good to indulge ourselves every once in a while. Each look is handcrafted in India and can be personalised by getting your initials engraved on bespoke PJs.

The innovative designs of the styles provoke desire, while the softness of the satin arouses a sense of tranquility that can allow you to induce sleep on command. The line expands to printed pyjama sets, robes, shorts, and accessories like eye masks, face masks and slippers, that are fashioned from a variety of fabrics and weaves such as silk, cotton, viscose, velvet and satin. The colour palette consists of dreamy navy, teal, burgundy, beige and more.

The drop was visualised and captured with the use of decor elements from luxury home decor brand Mason Home. Based in Mumbai, Mason Home provides home decor solutions with a selective array of products like functional furniture, bed linens, bath linens, kitchenware, planters, lamps & lightings. The decor brand is inspired by minimalist Scandinavian design which blends perfectly with Sarah & Sandeep’s new-age design philosophy.

Designers Sarah & Sandeep state, “When faced with the prospect of spending incessant weeks at home, we wanted to design a collection that can straddle the both public and private space, and can be debonaire enough for both genders. The drop has turned out better than we imagined, and we believe that ‘comfort essentials’ will have a higher demand over the next few months because these styles also make for fantastic gifts.”
With the festive-wear category on hiatus, independent high-end fashion brands from India have been making the move towards ‘essentials’ and ‘work-from-home’ apparel to generate some income to counteract the fallout from the months of national lock-down due to the pandemic. Fashion label Sarah & Sandeep (previously SS HOMME) may have imagined a whole new category called ‘comfort essentials’, that is catching the attention all around.
