Designer Seema Gujral’s latest Summer ’21 collection titled ‘Lumière’. The new collection channels the woman of today, headstrong and unstoppable.
This summer-ready collection by Seema Gujral features soft watercolours and pastel shades setting the perfect mood for a bright and colourful time to come. The colour palette for this collection is built on a foundation of nature and its motley of colours and bountiful flora.
From soft pinks, whites and peaches to vibrant yellows, reds and greys, the colour palette is varied with vibrance. The garments stand out with fine craftsmanship and intricate detailing including bead tassels on the blouses, pearl and sequin embroidery strewed across an array of silhouettes.
This collection includes fine hand-done mirror appliqué work and bold florals to compliment the season. The couturier has also experimented with various silhouettes and cuts to create ensembles that are unique and timeless.
Speaking about the launch of her latest labour of love, couturier Seema Gujral said “Lumière was inspired by the light we all possess within. The aim was to instantly brighten up the mood with splashes of colours and happiness. We hope this collection spreads joy, as much, if not more than what I have felt creating it.”
