Sage Living launches a new collection of sustainable lights – an amalgamation of traditional craftsmanship, contemporary aesthetics and conscious living
Drawing from a range of creative influences both global and local, Sage Living launches a warm, natural glow lighting collection that is sustainable and eco-friendly.
Without compromising on design, quality and their unrelenting passion for everlasting beauty, Sage Living’s sustainable lighting collection gathers inspiration from a range of traditional and modern forms and features rooted in Indian culture. The new collection, including variations of pendant lamps, chandeliers, floor lamps and table lamps, provides illumination, affects mood and serves as a stylish piece of timeless décor in one’s home.
The series experiments with traditional materials of bamboo and jute that are hand-picked and meticulously hand-weaved by local artisans. The curvaceous strands of natural rattan and jute are tastefully entwined to create clean geometric designs that will never go out of style. The striking Korg pendent can brighten up one’s dining experience, while the rustic Serat pendent offers a cabin-style-retreat feel to modern living.
In their endeavour to support the ‘Make in India’ initiative, the design house collaborates with a diverse group of craftsmen and manufactures its ‘Sustainable Lighting’ collection with the finest produce of bamboo and jute sourced from various parts of India. This provides opportunities for them to showcase their talent while allowing them to benefit from the proceeds.
